Former KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) MEC for Sport, Arts, and Culture, Dr. Ntuthuko Mahlaba, warmly welcomed the newly elected MEC, Mr. Khawula, in Pietermaritzburg today. Mahlaba, who previously held the position, handed over the reins to Khawula, wishing him success in his new role.
During his farewell address to staff in the department, Mahlaba expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve and congratulated Khawula on his appointment.
“I am honored to have worked with you, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. I also wish the entire executive committee of this province success in their endeavors,” Mahlaba said.
Khawula thanked Mahlaba for the warm welcome and acknowledged his predecessor’s contributions to the department.
