Former Minister of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Ncediso Zizi Kodwa, is set to return to parliament on June 25, after missing the first sitting of Parliament on June 14. Kodwa is expected to be sworn on Tuesday June 25 in Goodhope Chamber, Cape Town by Speaker Thoko Didiza when she also swears in uMkhonto weSizwe Party (MK) members of Parliament who also missed the fish sitting.

Despite facing corruption charges, Kodwa’s name appears at number 25 on the African National Congress (ANC) parliamentary list.

This development comes after Kodwa was accused of accepting a bribe of R1.7 million to secure a government tender worth R400 million for EGH, a company owned by Jehan Mackay.
