Meanwhile, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) acknowledged Dlamini’s accomplishments as acting Mayor. “We’ve seen you working in the past five months as an acting Mayor,” commented an EFF spokesperson. “We hope you’ll still be accessible to us and that we can carry on working together.”

The African National Congress (ANC) was equally supportive, emphasizing Dlamini’s reputation for integrity. “If we were to choose, we’d definitely choose you, Malandela,” an ANC representative affirmed. “Lead us in truth.”

Similarly, the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) celebrated Dlamini’s contributions and the collaborative atmosphere of his leadership. “Congratulations to Malandela; you’ve shown us your great leadership throughout your tenure. We are grateful that all other parties are happy about this,” the IFP stated.

With a focus on local economic development, Mayor Dlamini emphasized his commitment to fostering youth entrepreneurship across the district’s five municipalities. He outlined his vision for establishing youth desks in local municipalities to assist young entrepreneurs. “These desks will provide information and resources, empowering our youth to start their own businesses and drive economic growth,” Dlamini explained.
