In the early hours of Saturday morning, a devastating accident on the N3 Durban Bound near Pavilion has resulted in the loss of two lives.

The taxi, after colliding with the vehicle, rolled multiple times before finally coming to a rest on its wheels.

Tragically, two male occupants of the taxi, believed to be in their twenties, sustained severe injuries.

Despite the efforts of paramedics, there was nothing more that could be done, and both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene.
