A robbery at a Spar on Wick street in Verulam, KwaZulu-Natal, left a security guard injured yesterday evening, June 28.
According to the report, the suspect entered the store, pretending to be a customer, and then pulled out a gun and shot the security guard before he fled the scene.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to scene at approximately 19:06.The injured male was treated for his injury before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
