Ten young designers showcased their talent at the Hollywoodbets Durban July preview event held at the Gateway in Durban yesterday.The event, which took place on Friday, gave a glimpse into the excitement that is expected on July 6, with a grand prize at stake.
The young designers, who are part of the Hollywoodbets Durban July Young Designer Award, will have their designs displayed on a special day on July 6. The event was filled with music and entertainment, with Jeremy Loops performing.
“I think the young designers have done an excellent job, and their work is impressive,” said Vuyiswa Ngobese from the Hollywoodbets Foundation.
Ngobese also praised the work of Kwenzi Nkomo and Makhosi Ntshangase from the DFF Rising Stars. Stephen Marshall from Gold Circle also commended the designers, saying their work is of high quality and will definitely catch the eye at the main Durban July event.
