Police are monitoring the situation in
Wentworth after a 3-year-old child was killed after being knocked down by a vehicle on Austerville drive this afternoon. The community is upset at the events which resulted in the fatal pedestrian accident.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the scene, where they found the child lying in the road.
He was declared deceased shortly thereafter, owing to the severe injuries he sustained.
