Gauteng Premier Mr. Panyaza Lesufi, has once again being unable to announce Members of the Executive Councils (MECs) of the provincial legislature, which was expected to take place tonight.
This decision comes as a result of ongoing negotiations with other political parties to form a government of provincial unity. The premier had previously delayed the announcement, citing the need for further consultations.
The talks are aimed at forming a united government that will serve the best interests of the people of Gauteng. The new cabinet announcement is expected to be made once the negotiations are concluded.
