The new Premier of KwaZulu Natal, Mr. Thami Ntuli, has urged men to treat women with respect and dignity.
Speaking at the Sukuma Sakhe Ndoda event in eThekwini, Premier Ntuli emphasized that men must understand that women are not their equals, but rather human beings deserving of respect and kindness. He condemned the violence and abuse of women, saying it is unacceptable and must be stopped.
The event was attended by various stakeholders, including the police and government officials. Premier Ntuli’s message was echoed by other speakers, including the Chairperson of Sukuma Sakhe Ndoda, Mr. Bhekimpi Mchunu, and the KwaZulu Natal Provincial Commissioner, Brigadier Eric Thwala. They all emphasized the importance of respecting and valuing women.
