President Cyril Ramaphosa has officially launched the new National Executive Committee (NEC) of the government, comprising various political parties.
The launch event was held at the International Convention Center in Cape Town, Western Cape, where Chief Justice Raymond Zondo sworn in NEC members.
Speaking with members of the media after the event, President Ramaphosa said that the new NEC marks a significant milestone in the country’s history and a new beginning for better governance.
“Today is a historic day, the people’s wishes have been fulfilled, and the newly appointed ministers have been entrusted with a great responsibility. I promise the people that we will not disappoint them,” Ramaphosa said.
