Somizi’s drama-filled public divorce from Mohale Motaung has attracted a lot of attention which made room for public opinion. Things got even more complicated when it was revealed that Somizi and Mohale never signed anything with the Department of Home Affairs. Now Somizi Mhlongo’s very good friend, Shauwn Mkhize has offered to help him by providing the best divorce and tax lawyers.

On his latest episode of Living The Dream with Somizi, Somizi spoke with his good friend Shauwn and explained things to her. She shared his anger and said Mohale is crazy for just demanding half of what Somizi has without having worked for it.
Speaking over the phone, Somizi caught up with Shauwn and told her how he is embroiled in a legal battle with his estranged husband Mohale. “I need you to connect me to the person… your tax lawyer. Because they’re after me now,” he told Shauwn. “Are they also after you? I will send it to you fast and furious,” said the businesswoman.
“They’re trying to be personal and I won’t entertain any of that. I want everything to be done lawfully,” Somizi added.
Speaking to the camera he said, “I just got a letter from my ex’s lawyers. So, I also need a divorce lawyer. The person to speak to right now is Shauwn because I think she’s been through both situations and she’s used very good lawyers,” he said.
Somizi was in Cape Town at the time of the call and Shauwn promised to send the lawyers to him ASAP.
Still in disbelief, Somizi exclaimed, “Imagine, he wants half!”
That’s when Shauwn said Mohale is crazy, “He’s crazy, he’s out of his mind. Are we supposed to work hard and give people half?”
Somizi did not hold back on the insults and said, “You don’t just walk into someone else’s life…do nothing and expect to leave with everything. You’re a con artist, you’re a shoplifter, you’re a robber. Actually, there’s another one, money heist,” he said.
In previous episodes, Somizi explained everything, “At the white wedding when you know you know and I knew that with the marriage it was going to be a challenge. But there are challenges that come with a marriage naturally and there are challenges where you see that there’s hell,” he said.
“They told us that the priest didn’t come with the papers. We were supposed to sign the following week and anyway, I never raised it because in our relationship I was always the initiator. So, had he initiated then he knew I was going to be skeptical because since when does he initiate?”
Somizi was understandably angry as he addressed everything about their beef including the leaked details about their sex life, “There is a part where he says I suggested threesome and stuff. My suggestion of not an open relationship, a versatile relationship were for the benefit of our marriage. Here I was dealing with someone who had issues with sex or I don’t know what you call it.”
“I still stayed, but I said to him let’s find other ways to either we go to a sex therapy, he didn’t want to go because he was in denial that the sex life wasn’t great.”
