A 4-year-old boy has been crushed to death by a garage door at his home in Montclair, south of Durban.
The exact details leading up to the tragedy are still unknown at this stage.
Netcare911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst says advanced life support paramedics raced to the scene to assist.
“The child was assessed on scene and was found to have no signs of life,” said Herbst.
He said police were on scene and will investigate further.
