Renowned athlete Jenet Mbhele, a member of the Xcel Athletics Club, is urging young people to prioritize their education and participate in sports. Mbhele, who recently excelled in the Comrades Marathon, believes that sports can play a vital role in shaping the future of youngsters.

In an interview with Tellitallsa, Mbhele emphasized the importance of education and sports in shaping the lives of young people. “I want to encourage young people to take their education seriously and participate in sports, both in school and outside of school. This will help them develop their talents and build their confidence,” Jenet said.

Mbhele, who finished the Comrades Marathon in an impressive 6 hours and 16 minutes, believes that sports can be a valuable tool for young people, especially those who struggle in school. “Sports can help them discover their hidden talents and build their self-esteem,” she added.

The athlete also encouraged young people to pursue their passions and never give up on their dreams.
“It’s never too late to start something new and pursue your goals,” she said.

Mbhele’s message comes at a time when many young people in Mzimkhulu are struggling to find their footing in life. She hopes that her story will inspire them to work hard and never give up on their dreams.
