Judge John Hlophe, the Chief Whip of the MK Party, led the party’s members in Parliament today, fulfilling his earlier promise. Hlophe had announced on June 22, during the African Legal Professionals Association (ALPA) launch, that he would lead the party in Parliament.
“I am delighted to announce that on Tuesday, 58 MK members will be sworn in and take their seats in Parliament,” Hlophe said during ALPA ceremony.
The party members were sworn in today after missing the first day of Parliament on June 14.
