Rise Mzansi has written a letter to President Cyril Ramaphosa requesting the appointment of a suitable Minister for the Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture. Tebogo Moelusi, a National Leadership Collective (NLC) member of Rise Mzansi, stated that after meeting with various business leaders and stakeholders in the Cultural and Creative Industry (CCI), they have realized the need for a minister who will prioritize the development of the sector.
“We want a minister who will work closely with stakeholders, artists, and businesspeople to implement programs and projects that will benefit the people involved in this department. We expect this to happen within the first 100 days of the appointed minister,” Moelusi emphasized.
