A devastating accident occurred in the Eastern Cape (EC) province yesterday, June 21, at around 23:00, when a BMW vehicle crashed into six people who were walking along the R61 road in Mbizana, near Port Edward.
According to the EC Transport Department, five people died at the scene, while one person died en route to Tambo Hospital in Mbizana.
