Twenty-six people have been injured when a Megabus overturned on the N3 Durban bound just after the Mariannhill Toll plaza in Pinetown just after 6 am on Friday morning.
ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find that a bus had lost control and crashed into the barrier before coming to rest on its side.
“A triage system was quickly set up and immediately more ambulances were dispatched to the scene,” said ALS Paramedics.

A total of twenty-six passengers sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate were stabilized on the scene before two passengers were transported to the hospital for the further treatment that they required.
At this stage, the events leading up to the accident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
