A 23-year-old man’s body was discovered in an open field after he was stabbed to death in Mitchells Plain, Cape Town, on Monday.
Police responded to a complaint about the discovery of the body near Durban Road, Portlands, at 11:45.
“The deceased had been stabbed in the chest with an unknown sharp object,” police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said.
“No persons have been arrested. Police are investigating a murder.”
